Ingeborg A. Palmer, 89
Ingeborg Palmer: wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Classy. Funny. Beautiful. Adventurous.
Thursday, December 19, 2013, Inge may have left this world, but she did not leave our hearts.
Inge was a lady who loved beautiful clothes, unique rings, traveling and chocolate. Dark chocolate to be exact. Inge also loved to read – specifically historical novels – and crochet, knit, and create beautiful needlepoint pieces.
Inge was a member of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary, the Catholic Daughters of America, and was a devout Catholic, praying the rosary daily for those who were sick. Every winter she participated in making baby blankets for the church, and this brought her great joy.
Wherever Inge went, she would make her mark on everyone. If she liked you, you knew. If she didn’t like you, you knew. She was unique and free spirited and her presence was always enjoyed. She was a spit fire – a ball of energy that would be game for anything. She loved a new adventure.
She leaves behind extended family in Germany and many friends that dot the globe.
Please sign Inge’s memorial book and share stories at www.englishfuneralchapel.com. I know that the stories will provide comfort and solace for her family left behind in Germany.
Her memorial services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Coeur d’Alene. Donations may be made in her memory to St. George’s Catholic Church Building Fund, 2010 N Lucas Rd, Post Falls, ID, 83854.
In the words of Inge I would like to say “listen, Sweetie….” you meant the world to me. Rest in peace, my friend (love you – Barb).
