Patricia Ann Hill, 64
Patricia Ann Hill, 64, of Marysville, Washington, passed away on December 7, 2013 with her loved ones at her side. She was blessed to have her sisters and family with her in her last days.
Patricia was born in Denver, Colorado to Gerald Rath and A. Lucille (Francis) Rath on August 17, 1949. She was raised in Loveland, Colorado where she graduated from Loveland High School in 1967. She married Jerry Irvin and had two children: Danielle Buettner and Michael Irvin Sr. They later divorced and she married the love of her life, Patrick Hill on December 18, 1981. They started their life together in Coeur d Alene, Idaho and eventually ended up in Marysville where they enjoyed attending The Highland Games and celebrating their Scottish heritage. One of their favorite pastimes was to park at the Mukilteo Lighthouse, take in the scenery and read their books. She recently went back to school to become a medical office manager and worked with an orthopedic group in Arlington. After Patrick’s passing in February, she moved to Coeur d'Alene to be close to her children. She was quickly diagnosed with a terminal illness from which she succumbed.
Patricia was preceded in death by her mother, her brother Ben Rath, her sister Tina Rath, and her best friend and husband Patrick. She is survived by her father Gerald Rath, sisters Connie Rath and husband Dale Blandin, Sandra Kerven and husband Shawn, her children Danielle Buettner, Michael Irvin Sr and wife Michelle, and Patrick’s children Chandra Niels and husband James, John Hill and wife Samantha.
