GRINCH: Can't grin and bear it

Another sad theft story. Thursday night someone stole my lighted polar bear. He is about 2 feet tall and has a jaunty little Santa hat. If you see him in someone’s yard at night and he is not lit, he is my bear as the dumb thief cut the electrical cord to take him. Maybe he has a new cord which would make him mine.

I never understand why someone steals Christmas displays. Christians celebrate Christmas. I just cannot figure out how stealing has anything to do with celebrating the birth of Christ. The kids in the family really enjoyed the little polar bear.

Bah Humbug could be my feeling, but you cannot destroy my pleasure in the joy of Christmas time.

Neighbors, if you think you see my bear on display, call the Post Falls police, case #13PF22929. I will be happy to prosecute.
