Eric Byron Johnston, 35

Born July 15, 1978, in Coeur d’Alene.

Survived by mother Catherine (Doug) Pratt; father Byron Johnston; sister Lisa (Ray Larsen) Johnston; brother Jeff (Michelle) Johnston; grandfather Will Cline; nephews, Michael, Charlie and Griffin; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Eric lived and worked in Coeur d’Alene and was loved by many. He liked fishing, boating and Frisbee golf. He had a wide circle of friends and many lifelong friendships. He will be remembered for his kind heart, infectious grin, and all the unique nicknames he had for his family and friends. When we remember Eric, we will smile and call to mind his gentle nature and compassionate personality.

We love you, Eric and miss you immeasurably.

Service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013, at English Funeral Chapel, 1133 N. Fourth St., Coeur d’Alene.
