SICK: Little help would go far
What has become of society? In June 2012, a school bus attendant gets verbally abused by students she’s supposed to be in control of and gets $800,000 in donations and national media attention. I’m suffering from diabetic kidney failure, multiple heart issues, am on dialysis 3 days a week for 3 1/2 hours per day, can no longer hold down a job because of it, am trying to get on the double-organ transplant list, and am losing my home to foreclosure, but I can’t even get the time of day from the media; I have run out of options, and I’m not the only one.
I see many, many other donation pages for people with serious medical issues, and they’re virtually ignored, while the most idiotic pages get ridiculous amounts. And before you ask what I do with “all my money,” I have to live on less than $700 a month; that’s supposed to cover food, utilities, vehicle costs, non-covered medical expenses and anything else. I want to know, what happened to helping your fellow man?
And should anyone like to help: http://gfwd.at/18LZiO2
