SCHOOLS: High praise for PF

| August 11, 2013 9:00 PM

Sadly, it seems that lately much of the press coverage surrounding educational issues has been both combative and negative in nature. I would like to break this trend and take this opportunity to voice my respect and appreciation for the Post Falls School District.

I have taught in several private and public schools in the course of a 30-year teaching career. Based on this extensive experience, I find Post Falls School District to be exemplary in their administrative leadership.

The guidance and support that I have received from the administration at Post Falls High School from Dena Nacarrato, Karla Merrill, Chris Sensel and JoAnn Curtis has exceeded my expectations and made me challenge myself to be the best educator possible.

The sincere concern for the welfare and best interest of students and staff is consistently demonstrated in the difficult decisions that face Superintendent Jerry Keene and Assistant Superintendent Becky Ford. They have the ability to weigh and balance the complex challenges facing public education and reach the most equitable solutions possible for students, teachers and support staff. The entire school district (all the employees who work hard in the office) work diligently and efficiently to help with all aspects of school and staff needs.

Let me close in reiterating the high esteem I hold for the caring and highly professional staff at Post Falls School District. It is with pride and gratitude that I am a teacher for the Post Falls School District.
