MAJ: Thanks for everything

My family and I were deeply saddened to learn of the recent kayaking death of Maj StormoGipson. We knew her to be a compassionate and gracious person.

I served with Maj on the Coeur d’Alene Charter Academy School Board where she was a wise and involved member with a special concern for children. As a pediatrician she dedicated her life to the health and welfare of kids.

Our hearts go out to her family but also to the community that lost an active and unselfish citizen. The world would be a better place if we all lived like Maj. It certainly was made better during her short stay here.
