HEARN: When normal is ideal

Tom Hearn is running for the school board. Tom is a normal guy. What do I mean by normal? Tom thinks parents, teachers and other education professionals should be heard on issues affecting their kids, their jobs, their careers and our community. That sounds pretty normal.

Tom Hearn is not interested in rule by fiat. You will never hear him say that he did something on the school board because he has the power and authority to do it. True authority stems from thoughtful leadership that takes others opinions into account, not from railroading ones agenda down everyone else’s throat and then hiding behind statutory authority.

Tom Hearn understands that it’s a big wide world out there and our kids are not helped to deal with it by hiding our heads in the sand and pretending that Idaho is an island nation sufficient unto itself.

Get real about education. Vote for common sense, common ground. Vote for Tom Hearn for the school board.
