HEARN: 3 governors can't be wrong

As a group of retired educators we support Tom Hearn in his nonpartisan candidacy for the Coeur d’Alene School Board position, Zone 5. Many of us have known Tom as a professional, a friend and a supporter of excellence in education. We are pleased and encouraged that Tom is willing to dedicate his time and expertise to work cooperatively with a variety of school professionals, parents and community members.

Tom has demonstrated his ability to apply critical skills on state boards appointed by three governors — Republicans Dirk Kempthorne and Butch Otter, and Democrat Cecil Andrus. He has also been involved in local groups such as the Kootenai County Child Abuse Task Force, Friends of Head Start, Coeur d’Alene School District Long Range Planning Committee and Children’s Village.

This is the perfect time to endorse Tom Hearn for Zone 5 so that he has the opportunity to bring our community together during challenging times in education. Please take time to be an informed voter; identify your zone, research the issues, attend public candidate forums and most importantly VOTE!
