Zoe Dian Hall Krebs, 70

Zoe Dian Hall Krebs was born Nov. 19, 1942, to Daniel and Zoe Krebs in Bismarck, N.D.

Graduated Bismarck High School in 1960 and then attended the University of North Dakota where she graduated in 1963 with a degree in social work. She spent 40 years working as a social worker with the last place being PCM Inc. in Laguna Hills, Calif., as a Home Care Coordinator for the residents of Leisure World.

After living in Southern California for 35 years she retired to Coeur d’Alene in 2004. She was a two-time breast cancer survivor and a strong, silly and free spirited woman.

She lost her battle with bladder cancer on April 14, 2013, and is survived by her partner, Richard Padilla; and sons, Brian and Eric Krebs.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. (PST) Monday, April 22, 2013, at Yates Funeral Home, 373 E. Hayden Ave., Hayden.
