BULEY: Farewell to dedicated newsman

| April 10, 2013 9:00 PM

An exciting career course change for former Coeur d’Alene Press city editor Bill Buley will leave a huge void in The Press newsroom. My longtime friend and former Press colleague is now basking in the sun as editor-and-chief at the daily newspaper serving Kauai. Bill will shine in Hawaii, I have no doubt about that. And The Press will survive in the wake of the departure of one of the hardest working journalists I’ve ever shared a newsroom with. From weekend Veterans Day events, to late-night high school sports coverage, to intriguing feature stories honoring the young and old … Bill covered it all professionally and without hesitation. Congratulations, Bill, for this huge and exciting opportunity! You will be missed by many.
