Ronald Duane Howard, 59

| April 9, 2013 1:37 PM

June 7, 1953 - April 3, 2013

Ronald Duane Howard passed away April 3, 2013, in Spokane. He was born June 7, 1953, in Kent, Wash.

The day has come sooner than we wanted. We have had to say goodbye to our friend, and father before we were ready.

A man of few words, but of strong presence. A man who with his hands alone could fix a car by day at his auto repair shop Save More Automotive. With those same strong hands play music to move our souls and feet to dance by night.

Ron’s children have followed in his footsteps, “turning wrenches” to pay the bills. More importantly his boys have inherited his love to make music. So as we are sad we will turn to the music to heal our souls.

Please join us from 6-10 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2013, at the Eagles Club in Coeur d’Alene. In lieu of flowers please bring a dish for our potluck and share some of your memories of Ron. Also bring your instrument of choice to warm our souls, with music. We will jam for Ron to hear.

Ron was survived by his brother, Garry Howard and his wife Tari; sisters, Shirley Heil and Janice Wood; son Cory Howard, his wife, Sarah and grandson Wyatt; son Ryan Howard and grandsons, Jayden and Ryder.
