Helen 'Janet' Vigen, 77

Helen “Janet” Vigen passed away Sept. 25, 2012, at Kootenai Medical Center. Janet was born Oct. 24, 1934, to Herbert and Helen Archabald in Las Vegas, Nev.

While living in California Janet meet the love of her life a young Marine named Reginald Vigen. The two were married May 21, 1955, in Las Vegas. In 1976 Janet and Reggie moved to the Coeur d’Alene area and started a business North West Molds.

Janet loved helping out with the business, being a house wife and mother to their daughter Julie Anne. She was a member of the LDS Church and president of the Post Falls Lady Lyons Club.

Janet is survived be her husband, Reginald of Post Falls; daughter Julie Anne (Jay) Lockhart; grandson Jacob Lockhart and sister Mary Miller of Las Vegas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Helen.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at English Funeral Chapel, 1700 N. Spokane St., Post Falls, with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Post Falls.
