9/11: Thanks for remembering

I am pleased to know that there was a ceremony Tuesday in remembrance for those who were killed in the terrorist attacks on the twin towers in New York 11 years ago, Sept. 11, 2001.
Many innocent people were trapped in the buildings or died trying to rescue others. Every year there should be a ceremony or memorial service to commemorate those who died and for the rescue teams who went into the buildings and never came back.
The ceremonies should also thank the heroes who lived through the tragic event and are still risking their lives for others. Once again I want to thank Coeur d’Alene for hosting a remembrance event for 9/11.
