RECYCLE: It's up to each person
In response to the comments about “Recycling” in Kootenai County; I was a little taken back that another citizen was waiting for a politician to change how we recycle opposed to the citizens of this county making the change on their own.
I want to save this Earth for future generations just as much as the next person, but waiting for change is not realistic. We all have to do our part and “make the change.”
I live in a condominium complex in Post Falls. The only option we have for getting rid of waste are the dumpsters. Short of soliciting the Home Owners Association to do something for us, I do my own recycling. Each week, I sort everything in my home office and take it to the transfer station.
How about some self-initiation for the green cause? Tax dollars have better things to do than enable people to set up recycling through a government program. Let’s do our part, that is my vote.
