OBAMA: Enemy of the unborn

There is an audio recording of Illinois State Senator Obama arguing against legislation protecting infants who had survived late-term abortions offering a chilling insight into his heart and soul stating: “That fetus or child, however you want to describe IT, is now outside the mother’s womb, and the doctor continues to think it’s nonviable, but there’s movement or some indication that they’re not just out there limp and dead.” He argues that a further assessment to determine if the baby can be saved is: “designed to simply burden the original decision of the woman… it is important to understand that this issue is ultimately about abortions and not live births.”

Obama claims he did not support infanticide; the reasoning that legislation was in place to protect “viable” babies; these survivors of abortion were “not viable” (determined by the abortionist!), therefore placing them in dirty utility rooms to die was not inhumane.

I worked as a nurse in obstetrics where sometimes premature deliveries could not be prevented. On one such occasion, the pregnancy was so early, there was no anticipation the baby could be born alive, but the tiny boy let out a cry so was rushed to the NICU. A couple months later I was transferred for my shift to the NICU and assigned to care for that same baby, beautiful and healthy, about to go home. He was our hospitals’ earliest and tiniest baby to then survive. I often think of that baby when I hear of babies left to die. We don’t even treat puppies and kittens like that!

I urge all to listen to the audio of Obama’s arguments during the course of his four-vote battle against offering care to infants born alive. Then listen to the ad by the Susan B. Anthony List featuring a woman who as a baby survived a late-term abortion, was placed in the trash to die, and only alive today because she was rescued by a nurse.

While the majority of Americans want common-sense restrictions on abortion, including bans on the brutal practice of partial-birth abortions, sex-selective abortions and federal funding for abortions, Obama has ACTIVELY FOUGHT ALL SUCH LEGISLATION! If you believe in the value, dignity and worth of every human on Earth, prayerfully consider Obama’s radical abortion record when voting.
