WOLVES: Memo to a wolf lover

Dear Eric Feek: I’m going to explain something to you in a kind, gentle manner, so as not to offend your delicate sensibilities. Wolf hunters are not shortsighted haters.

First of all, you do not respect hunters; who are you tryin’ to kid?

Second of all, my biggest fear has always been plague feral hogs… one got Granny last year.

Here’s my point. You call us shortsighted? We also hunt deer because we hate them, we hunt elk because we hate them, we hunt duck because we hate those little suckers, too. I don’t want to tell you what we do to fish around here… because we hate them. I hear in California they don’t pull weeds from the garden, because weeds have feelings, too.

Just a head’s up, pal. You’re in the Panhandle. Unarmed, you’re at the bottom of the food chain. Quit smoking that crap, and get a grip on reality.
