CHRIST: Keep Him in holidays

Post 1950 of the Catholic War Veterans thanks, in advance, all of you who will keep Christ in Christmas by your use of cards, stamps, decorations and observances. After all, He is the reason for the season!

It is painful that there are organized groups intent upon removing Christ from the celebration of His birthday.

In the United States we, also, celebrate birthdays of Martin Luther King Jr., George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. In addition, we have set aside days to honor Christopher Columbus and all veterans. There are people in our nation who do not hold all of these people in reverence, yet there is not a big effort to dishonor and dislodge them from our common calendar. Can’t we be as tolerant to the root of Christian faith?
