CRITICISM: Put it in writing

On election night, the Coeur d’Alene City Council met and during audience comment time (and noting that he would rather be watching the returns via television), a taxpayer commented on his view in purchasing Person Field, and suggested better ways for the council to conduct business and policy.

Next on was a succinct suggestion that criticism of the council be made in private.

I suggest that instead of opinion at an open council meeting, it be made in “letters to the editor” to include the entire community.

(We should all be proud of Idaho’s intellectual vote for Romney.)
