COLUMN: A plug for Obamacare?

| November 10, 2012 8:15 PM

The Sholeh Patrick column Thursday appears to be a thinly veiled version of the Obama mandate that’s coming to our theater soon. It’s being forced on the doctors as well as many other “reforms.” The panel in Washington will determine which patients are no longer eligible for treatment, based on their “research” or formula. It sounds so gentle. It’s basically, “go home and take two Aspirin; don’t call me.” Counseling has always been available and presented to people with serious or terminal illnesses. Hospice care has always had this service and done a beautiful job.

Obamacare isn’t popular, but it’s been jammed down our throats and we have no choice. Our premiums are going to go sky high and we all know it. They’ve already increased for 2013 and will jump again in 2014! I’m mad about it and will be so for the rest of my life!
