Ruth Brown, 69 1942 - 2012

Ruth passed away May 21, 2012, in Sandy, Utah. She was born July 19, 1942, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Robert Aird Brown Jr. and Johanna Margareda Schweberger.

Ruth graduated from Highland High School and attended the University of Utah. She enjoyed and played Country Western Music throughout the Northwestern United States and Hawaii. She had an extended career with US Bank. She was a member of the LDS Church and loved the Spokane Temple. Ruth lived most of her life in Hayden and was well known for her love of Scottie dogs, cats, music and Dunford chocolate donuts.

She is survived by her sisters, Helen Siebert, Linda Tyler and Darlene Weirwein; sister-in-law Vesta Brown; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.

Viewing will be held from 6-8 p.m. Monday, May 28, 2012, at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Pkwy. (10600 S.), South Jordan, Utah.
