POCATELLO (AP) - Authorities in Pocatello are looking for vandals who spray painted crude messages on two Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints buildings.
Pocatello Police Maj. Mike Staynor tells the Idaho State Journal the acts of vandalism are being investigated as potential hate crimes.
The suspects painted obscene messages and crude drawings on the churches late Wednesday night.
Bishop R. Dale Price says he is saddened by the vandalism.
His church was victimized by defamatory graffiti several years ago. He says it's disappointing to see that this happened in a community that values mutual respect for religions.
