RECALL: Keep mayor, council

This is one more letter in support of Mayor Bloem and councilmembers Goodlander, Kennedy and McEvers who have given a big boost to academia through implementation of the education corridor. In spite of their many accomplishments they did not forget public art, which they supported in the form of stone sculptures (both representational and non-representational) that line a street in Coeur d’Alene. I always enjoy looking at them as I drive along the midtown section of Fourth. Thank goodness they support the arts.

I look forward to the development of McEuen Park. In my opinion an elegant park will enhance the waterfront and compliment the natural beauty of the area.
