WOLFINGER: Is most qualified
The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Department, despite the financial constraints we place upon them, has always stepped up to protect our community and individuals in our community with skill, honor, integrity and compassion. In my view, this is because of the leadership of the command staff put together by Rocky Watson. We are fortunate to have one of these outstanding officers willing to step up and continue to lead the department into the future. For over 29 years, Ben Wolfinger has worked in and managed every area within the sheriff’s department, understanding the roles of each person in the department who serves us in Kootenai County. With 20 years of personnel supervision, management, and budget preparation experience he will be able to continue to improve and maximize the efficiency of the department. He has served our community beyond the Sherriff’s Department over many years as a member of Coeur d’Alene City Council, Advisory Board of NIC, Coeur d’Alene Chamber of Commerce, United Way Board of Directors, and Legislative Subcommittee for the Coalition Against Domestic Violence.
No candidate for sheriff has experience, longevity and commitment to Kootenai County as Ben Wolfinger. He has shown desire to serve and protect the rights of all residents in our community. He shows a Christen compassion for those less fortunate, such as individuals that are unemployed, disabled or mentally ill, protecting their rights as well, helping them strive for their respect and independence.
Ben Wolfinger is a good man that has always committed himself to protect our families, loved ones, property and rights. He deserves our vote for Kootenai County Sheriff.
