VICK: Best man for state senate

Those of us who reside in the 2nd (formally 3rd) Legislative District will vote in a few days for representation in the Idaho State Senate. The two candidates, Steve Vick and Mike Jorgenson are as different as night and day.

First, a little background. In 2008, Mike Jorgenson was the incumbent and I was considering running against him. I took time out to get to know him better. I got to know him better and ran against him. Unfortunately, I failed to win the election.

In 2010 Steve Vick ran against Mike, succeeded in replacing him, and is now the incumbent. The entire State of Idaho is ahead. Now we need to vote to keep Senator Steve Vick in office.

Steve Vick has the basic character required to serve the public. Steve is an authentic man; what you see is what you get! Perhaps you wonder why you see more Jorgenson signs on the street than “ Vote Vick” signs. Senator Vick installs campaign signs only after receiving the permission of the landowner. Steve respects the rights of landowners. Steve has integrity! Steve respects and represents all 40,000 of his constituents. Again, as different as night and day.
