RECALL: Turmoil wasn't necessary

I opened the paper Wednesday morning to find the opinion page filled with letters regarding the recall, as has been the case most of the time lately. As a lifelong resident of the Post Falls area, I am sometimes reminded why I am glad to live west of Coeur d’Alene. All of the turmoil regarding the recall could have been avoided with a vote of the people a while back, but now the train has left the station and it’s all bad for the near future.
By the way, I notice the printed letters this morning ran seven to one against the recall. Do you really expect people to believe that is indicative of the letters you receive? Pretty obvious to most people where The Press and its publisher stand on the issue.
