Geraldine Wright, 76

Geri was born on Nov. 13, 1935, in Fort Smith, Ark. She moved in 1940 to California, where she later married and started a family. Her passion was reading. She also loved to cook, which is why she sincerely enjoyed her job as a cook at the California Youth Authority up until she retired and moved to North Idaho in 1991.

She fell asleep and woke up in the arms of the Lord on March 15, 2012. Everyone who knew Geri is truly blessed; she has touched so many lives. She was a beautiful woman with a heart of gold and would do anything for her family. She will never be forgotten.

Geri was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wright; her son, Richard Wright; and her grandson, Titus Wright. She is survived by her sister, Barbara Jones of Santa Ana, Calif.; her son, Ron Wright, of Corona, Calif.; son, Jeff Wright, of Post Falls; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren, two of which came into this world the same day of Geri’s passing.

A memorial service will be held at Yates Funeral Home in Hayden on Friday, March 30, 2012 at 2 p.m.
