Thomas Edward Neelon, 67

Thomas Edward Neelon, 67, resident of Athol, passed away Feb. 23, 2012, at Hospice House in Coeur d’Alene. He was born Nov. 14, 1944, in Hollywood, Calif., to Martin and Karen (Hage) Neelon.

Thomas married Rita Cecile Gibbons and they moved to the area in June 2004. He loved to explore, ask 20 questions, computers and belonged to Real Life Ministries in Post Falls. Thomas was a great negotiator and loved his family fiercely.

He survived by his wife, Rita; sons, Jamie Michael and Nathaniel Thomas Neelon; and daughters, Jessica Lynn Souther, Rebecca Christine Neelon, Katherine Michelle Neelon and Clairelise Renee Neelon.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Hospice House, 2920 Prairie Ave., Coeur d’Alene, ID 83815.

A celebration of life will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 15, 2012, at the Spirit Lake Community Center, 32564 N. Fourth St., Spirit Lake.
