TAXES: How will they be replaced?

The House of the Idaho Legislature has passed HB563 on a 13-4 vote. The bill proposes to reduce taxes by $35.7 million. The source of the tax reduction, as written in the bill, is from the top state income taxpayers and from corporations.
State government cannot afford to lose $35.7 in revenue and nothing has surfaced as to how the lost revenue will be replaced. However, be aware of more cuts in services and possibly a raise in sales taxes.
