Mike Seymour, 72
On behalf of my husband, Mike D. Seymour, I wanted to let our friends in Sandpoint and Coeur d’Alene know of his passing in Port Angeles, Wash. More importantly, I wanted to thank each of you, who made our many years living there so special, and tell you how much Mike appreciated your friendship and kindness. What was important to Mike was not just having friends, but truly getting to know them. Whether he was on a route for Budweiser, Coors, or Miller, helping out at the Lost in the 50s, working with neighbors on projects and challenges, he always found such enjoyment and satisfaction.
In return, our lives have been so enriched through the support and kindness shared by so many of you. Mike felt he did not just live in Sandpoint and Coeur d’Alene, but that he was a part of them.
While life in these communities was made special by the wonderful fishing, hunting and wildlife they offered, what Mike valued most was the people and their friendships. Those bonds and their memories made him a happy man and
still feeling a part of these communities long after we left.
For Mike a great life meant sharing time with his family, his children and grandchildren, and what made it complete was all of you. Those times, both fun and challenging as they could be, made life special and richly rewarding and I wanted to extend his thanks and appreciation to all of you.
