CAMARO: Story has happy ending

| June 22, 2012 9:00 PM

I was extremely pleased by today’s (June 19) article about Mr. King’s black Camaro being found in Boise. My oldest son works in the collector car business; they are a very closed and knowledgeable group, so I am not surprised that someone called him.

This little trio of thieves reminds me of the old Don Knotts movie “The Gang Who Couldn’t Shoot Straight.” I am surprised these crackheads got as far as Boise before they tried to sell the cars. Maybe Mr. King will get lucky before this is over and get his other car back. I know he had these insured, but insurance never covers the loss of collector cars. Some of them, you just can’t replace.
