FLORIDA: Writer corrects comment

I’m glad to discover that I was wrong about the number of letters that went out to voters in Florida. I don’t mind owning up to an error. It’s a relief to know that enough people woke up soon enough to put a temporary kibosh on that program. We’ll see if it sticks. I have my doubts.

The fact remains that all across this country, in state after state, Republican legislatures are trying to make it harder for ordinary citizens to vote. That is a bad thing, any way you slice it. We need to drill that into our skulls.
