Benjamin Winkowitsch, 67

Benjamin Winkowitsch, 67, passed away unexpectedly on June 9, 2012, from heart failure. He lived in Bayview. He was born on July 2, 1944, in Lemon, S.D.

He is survived by his loving soul mate, Patty Hohnwaldt and four children, Keith Winkowitsch, Laurel Seibel, Julie Kuntz and Tammy Winkowitsch. Grandchildren are Renee and Tyler Winkowitsch; Kayla Garrett, Wes, Justin and Alex Seibel; Courtney, Faith, Caleb, Abby and Katie Kuntz. Also survived by Faith Winkowitsch-McDonald, mother of his children. Ben’s siblings are John Winkowitsch, Bob Winkowitsch, Mary Kjerstad, Margie Winkowitsch and Vera Bochmann.

Ben loved being at his cabin in the mountains and watching his wildlife (or critters as he called them). He also loved socializing with his many friends. His colorful personality will be greatly missed. At his request no service will be held.
