Jerry L. Southern, 83

In loving memory

Born in Nebraska Feb. 27, 1929.

Dad left what he always called "God's Country" and made his journey home to Our Heavenly Father on June 6, 2012.

A veteran of the Korean War, Jerry served in the U.S. Army.

After a 25 year career with Inland Asphalt he retired. Dad and his wife Cora became snowbirds.

Dad loved the outdoors and his biggest passion was fishing the Koocanusa in Montana.

Dad is survived by his wife of 24 years, Cora Southern. Also, the mother of his children Marolyn Southern and their three children, Teri Geren and her husband Rick, Kelli Thomas and her husband Chuck and his son Michael Southern, all local. Six grandsons, three great granddaughters, and two great grandsons.

Proceeded in his death are his parents and three brothers Al, George, and Frank.

Dad we will miss you dearly and love you forever.
