FIREFIGHTER: A union disgrace

Why is an accused firefighter with the Northern Lakes District placed on administrative leave? And receiving any pay whatsoever? Does he get full salary while his case takes years to wind its way through the courts?

He is accused of multiple sex crimes against a girl under age 16. Multiple charges over a two-year period!

We can thank the firefighters and police unions for protecting these creeps. Do other unions also protect their own to this extent? Remember the Spokane firefighter who actually had sex with a minor IN HIS FIREHOUSE. The union also protected him for awhile until he resigned, but how long would that charade have gone on for.

This is a disgrace for the unions. The city and county agencies who are in charge of these various union contracts and negotiations need to finally start taking a closer look at some of the fine print that allows this kind of crime to go unpunished.
