VANDALS: 'Hit piece' not appreciated

I recently read your editorial about how the Idaho Vandals should “drop down” if necessary in the ranks of college football.

While you and your staff are entitled to your opinion, it seems that many of your arguments are flawed. However, the most egregious comments in the article concern the recent murder of Vandal athlete Ken McRoyal.

Why this is even a talking point is beyond me… and somehow relating it to how the Vandals should drop down a conference is ridiculous. It’s cold, calculated and another hit piece that the media seems to revel in concerning the University of Idaho.

I sincerely hope that you swallow your pride, quit hiding behind your press credentials and have the guts to come out and apologize for writing such a callous statement about a senseless murder. These two subjects are in no way related and to do so stretches your papers credibility already beyond its thin limits.
