Jeremiah Donovan, 80

Jeremiah Donovan, born Oct. 14, 1931, in Newark, N.J., passed on May 26, 2012, in Hayden.

He was a member of the National Guard and in 1950 he joined the Navy in underwater demolition. He served four years in Korea, and was discharged in 1954. In 1956 he married Sally Weis in Whitter, Calif. Jeremiah and Sally had two sons, Bob and Marty.

He is preceded in death by his son, Bob; and his mother, father, brother and sister. He is survived by his wife, Sally; his son, Marty; and grandchildren, Ryan and Madison.

A memorial gathering will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 3, 2012, at their family home in Hayden. Bell Tower Funeral Home, Post Falls, is in care of the arrangements.
