HYDRO: Let the races begin

The news about the Hydro races being moved up to 2013 was well received by many of us in the beautiful Idaho Panhandle. The fact that they will be outside of city limits is also good news, because our deadbeat City Council can’t do a thing about it.

I know with Mr. H in favor of the race, there should be no problem getting some high rollers to sponsor the event.

And as for the few agitators who like to cause problems and interfere with the viewing of the race, they need to be rounded up and dealt with quickly and put in the slammer. The event organizers can hire a bunch of security folks and give them plenty of authority to deal with the troublemakers, so we don’t have any problems as in the past.

Don’t forget about the air show Aug. 18. Gene Soper finally got his trophy at the annual airport board meeting even though The Press let the cat out of the bag early!
