PROJECT: Join the fun Saturday

| July 27, 2012 9:00 PM

Life in a Day CDA is a crowd sourced event scheduled in Coeur d’Alene this Saturday. For a 24-hour period (12:01 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.), you can submit up to three photographs and a one-minute video of life around Coeur d’Alene.

This project is made possible by the Coeur d’Alene Arts Commission and you can learn more about the event at lifeinadaycda.com. Most people own camera phones capable of taking photographs and video. Simply snap a few shots around town, in the park, of your backyard barbecue, (be creative!) and send them by email to [email protected]. I don’t know whether to expect a hundred pictures or a thousand, but I do hope there is a lot of community support and involvement. The final selected pictures will be posted on lifeinadaycda.com in September.

Finally, the images and video will be donated to the city of Coeur d’Alene as a digital repository, or time capsule if you will, of life during this 24-hour period for future generations to enjoy. Please join me July 28 for Life in a Day CDA. If you have questions, contact me at [email protected]. Thank you to the city of Coeur d’Alene, Coeur d’Alene Arts Commission and to the Coeur d’Alene Press for their great article a few days ago.
