CARTOON: It's all about values

How ironic is the Margulies editorial cartoon of July 22? In derogating the recent decision of the Boy Scouts of America to exclude homosexual leaders, Margulies displays considerable close-mindedness himself. In a word, he decries intolerance while displaying his own intolerance of the beliefs held by others.

The Boy Scouts are committed to a set of traditional (and may I say mainstream) values. One wonders, what part of pledging to do one’s duty to God and Country he finds objectionable.
