OBAMA: I am so ashamed

| July 25, 2012 9:15 PM

President Obama gave a speech informing me and millions of people like me that our success in life was achieved because of “others” and not because of what we, ourselves did. To all of the people I know, I now want to apologize for believing my success in life was because. . .

I had sacrificed financially, emotionally and physically. All these years I had thought that because I grew up poor, that I began working at age 8, that at age 14 I was paying $26 per week room and board to my mother, that at age 20 I started my first business with the last $175 I had to my name, that when I went broke at age 28 which caused me to leave my family behind and work in another country for a year, that beginning another business at age 31 and that finally making a success of my life, it was ALL because of my own efforts. OH HOW FOOLISH I HAVE BEEN.

Thank you, President Obama, for finally setting me and millions of other Americans straight. I now realize that if it were not for all of those government employees, all of the government paperwork, all of those individuals who chose to sit on a bar stool half of their lives, all of the “freeloaders” in America (and you all know who you are) that I certainly could not have become successful without them.

Please accept my most humble apology.
