Andy J. Anderson, 55, of Post Falls, died suddenly Friday, July 13, 2012, from drowning in the Spokane River in Post Falls. He was born in Compton, Calif., July 8, 1957, to Judith and Andy Anderson.

Andy loved the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hiking, camping and swimming and riding the Harley. Andy led a hard but good life. He was a thrill seeker and an adventurer that loved to travel. He was a hard worker and a good man.

He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Anderson at home; stepson Ed Ford of Coeur d’Alene; stepdaughter Jamie Johnson of Post Falls and two grandchildren, Kaylee and Eddie Johnson of Post Falls. He is also survived by his mother, Judy Anderson of Hayden; a sister, Denise Anderson of Blanchard and two nephews, Brandon of Coeur d’Alene and Dennis Anderson of Bethlehem, Pa.

Andy had numerous aunts and uncles and was especially close to his aunt Patti and uncle Dutch Deutsch of Gold River, Calif. Andy had many friends and would always say he “never met a stranger.” We all love you Andy. Rest In Peace.
