HYMNS: Thanks, and come join us

I would like to thank the Kroc Center and Majors Ernie and Juanita Clevett for the monthly hymn sings that they have organized and led over these past few years. Today there are fewer opportunities for people to sing, fellowship and worship in this manner, and the Kroc Center and the Clevetts have provided our community with a wonderful opportunity to participate and enjoy singing these blessed songs.

However, there will be no Kroc Center hymn sings during July and August so the First Baptist Church in Coeur d’Alene has offered to fill the gap for July 29 and Aug. 26 (Sunday evenings) at 6 p.m. by offering two replacement hymn sings. Most hymns will be chosen in advance, hymnals will be provided, and songs will be accompanied by piano and organ. Families, as well as individuals, are invited to participate either by singing or listening. The church is located at the corner of 5th and Wallace. Please call 691-8349 with questions or for information.
