Fire crews battle blaze

BOISE (AP) - Wildfire fighters are battling a blaze in the foothills about six miles outside of Horseshoe Bend.

The Summit Ridge Fire ignited Thursday afternoon and has forced the evacuation of more than 10 homes near the perimeter and destroyed one barn.

Fire officials say the 100-acre blaze appears to be human caused but is still under investigation.

The fire started on a day government officials issued a red flag warning for much of southwestern Idaho.
