Patricia Sue Irmer, 69

Pat passed from this world peacefully in the afternoon Tuesday, July 17, 2012.

She was born in Alameda County in California on June 20, 1943. She graduated with a cosmetology license in the mid-’60s in Oakland, Calif.

Pat moved to Coeur d’Alene in 1976 and worked at The New Dawn beauty salon, eventually purchasing the business in 1981. In the mid-’80s, Pat was the president of the Idaho Cosmetology Association for five years. She was a member of the Dalton Gardens Church of Christ for several decades where she delighted in a loving family in Christ.

Pat worked the annual auction fundraiser for the Christian School and also the Open Arms call center for several decades.

She greatly enjoyed ensuring children were kept safe and had access to education.

Pat had a passion for photography, winning several ribbons at the local North Idaho Fair. She also was an avid “dog sitter” for her many friends.

Patricia Sue Irmer is dearly missed by her three sisters and one brother: Mary Ann Avery and husband Ron, Kitty Williams and husband Ronnie, Dody McBee and husband Clif, and Mike Irmer. She will also be missed by several generations of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 21, 2012, at the Dalton Gardens Church of Christ, 6439 N. Fourth St., Dalton Gardens.
