OBAMACARE: Fuel for conservatives
I believe that the Affordable Care Act will be either dismantled or repealed just after the next election cycle.
After I heard the ruling I began to wonder about Justice Robert’s motivation. Believing that he is a principled Constitutional conservative (also a D.C. insider from his beginnings) it seemed to me that he may have had another more legacy-intended outcome for his ruling. Consider this possibility: Since we now know that the power of Congress, as Justice Roberts has just illuminated, has unlimited ability to tax us into oblivion then WE, as in you and I, must do something about this. He has given us notice that if we don’t take our Constitutional power back we are doomed.
Conservatives will now have more momentum to change the way business is done in D.C. and he has begun through this ruling a new national dialog to change the current tax policy through a Constitutional amendment. Further, we have been energized to take back the White House AND the Senate from the RINO’s and the liberals and put more conservatives in the House. Once this is accomplished, We The People must take the time to groom better and more service oriented politicians (as opposed to the career-minded who will give away and say anything to keep their upward mobility momentum) to restore and preserve liberty as envisioned by those great men who gave us this miracle of a contract. We cannot anymore elect the “evil of the two lessers” and hope for a good outcome, rather we must all stay engaged somehow to affect the outcome, the responsibility of a citizen.
The conservative base has been re-energized by this and whether each individual realizes it or not this newly fueled momentum is a direct result of Justice Roberts’ decision. I prefer to think he knew what he was doing and took this opportunity to stick it to Obama so subtly that it will be years for him to notice he was had! (Let’s not forget that at last year’s State of the Union show he embarrassed Roberts and the court openly). Smarter than you think and very patient too?
