MANDATE: Whew, that was a close one

| July 6, 2012 9:00 PM

I’m proud to live in a free state like Idaho, where I don’t have to wear a helmet when I ride my motorcycle. Where I don’t have to have health insurance when (not if, but when) I go down on my motorcycle.

Thank God for Kootenai Health. Did you know, when you go down on your motorcycle without a helmet and health insurance, they still have to give you that $400,000 worth of treatment? Is this a great country or what?

They say that the insured dummies have to pay about $1,000 per year, each, to cover all the “freedom to be irresponsible” guys like me. Thanks, all you insured dummies. Thankfully, the Supreme Court overruled the MANDATE. That was scary. I thought I would be forced to be RESPONSIBLE. I’m voting Republican.
