MORMONS: Christians to the core

I would like to correct some information provided by a citizen from Hayden in her letter "OBAMA: This time, he might be right," on Jan. 18. The Mormon, Mitt Romney, running to become our next president, is a devout Christian. The actual name of his church bears Christ's name: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. With Christ as its foundation, this church embraces "all Christian standards of what is right or decent under God."

Romney and his Mormon Church also believe that Christ and his Father (God) and Holy Ghost (Spirit) are a Holy Godhead. So, the concerned Hayden citizen can rest assured that if Romney becomes our next president, he will lead a Christian nation as a devout Christian. I know this for sure, because I am a Mormon, too!
