COURAGE: What real men possess

I watched a movie recently that all men would benefit from watching, but especially men who are fathers.

The movie, "Courageous," does a great job outlining what a real man of courage is. A real man of courage is not a police officer fighting ruthless criminals every day, but it could be. A real man of courage is not a firefighter saving people from burning infernos, but it could be.

A real man of courage is not a good samaritan who pulls a drowning victim from the deep waters of no return, but it could be.

A real man of courage is a man who is not afraid to make a commitment and work hard to keep that commitment. A real man of courage is a man who lives his life with integrity on purpose and with purpose.

A real man of courage is a man who seeks out knowledge and understanding of what it means to be the head of a household. By head of household, I do not mean the boss. By head of household, I mean a leader. A real man of courage is a leader, a mentor, a role model, a husband, a friend, a father.

The movie "Courageous" is a great movie and I challenge all REAL men of courage to rent this movie and sit with your family and enjoy. You will not be disappointed.
