PRESIDENTS: Pray for an Obama win
Stanley Kwake claims that at 67 years old his memory is "perfect." One doubts that since he later claims that there have been 50 years of "Democrat" programs. Since for 24 of those years there was a Republican president, one must wonder at his memory. Further, for quite a number of those years the majority of the House and Senate were Republicans, one wonders indeed at his memory.
To the meat of his argument: I have heard the sow and teats argument. It was by Senator Alan Simpson and he was quoted as saying the United States was like a cow with 310,000,000 teats. I suggest that Mr. Kwake would agree that virtually every American is in someway a "suckling," included, if he's honest, himself. I doubt very much he refuses his Social Security check and I suspect he is not above taking Medicare.
The New York Times calculated the fiscal costs of the four Republican candidates and President Obama's economic plans. The president's plan created the least deficit of any one of the five plans by a factor of two. I suspect that Mr. Kwake is as hazy about the costs of a Republican presidency as by his other memory lapses.
In sum, Kwake says he prays daily for President Obama's defeat. Since there have been 22 straight months of job creation, the deficit will increase by the least if he's re-elected, that Obama succeeded in killing bin Laden when Bush failed for eight years, and that the troops in Iraq are coming home, I believe that whoever Mr. Kwake is praying to, it does not have the best interests of the United States at heart.
